Easy Tips To Quickly Release Anxiety At School/Workplace 

Hey everyone! 🙂 I hope you are doing well these days and enjoying autumnal weather which I wrote in the previous article about. However, this time is difficult for me because of great school tensions that also worsen my Social Anxiety. Nevertheless, I’ve found activities that make me a bit more relaxed and I would like to share them with you. 

Read a good book

To me, it means an escape to Stephen King’s various worlds. You may enjoy John Green or Dostojevskij, it doesn’t matter if it brings better feelings and forces you not to think about your problems for a moment.

If you don’t read (how can you?!), listening to favourite songs or talking with your closest friend have the same effect. 

Doodle a lot!

Despite not being another Salvador Dali, while sitting nervous in the class or at workplace you may calm your thoughts by doodling. Just a paper and pen and your mind will be hired by more relaxing acitivity.

Use antistress coloring pages

Similar to doodles, but you don’t need to create your own animated characters. However, colorful pencils are needed to paint the particular black and white images. Books full of such antistress paintings are hihly popular these days and available in every bookstore, but when you don’t want to spend money, you may find them on the Internet for free.

Drink your favourite tea/coffee

Take beloved drink (unlike alcohol, of course) or food with you to school or work. Food always improves mood even a little bit (in my case, food improves my mood completely).

Motivate yourself!

Feel bad in current situation? Try to find activities to look forward to after finishing your obligatory ones. Is it your dog not allowing you to read your Stephen King in peace?

Or an evening spent in silence while enjoying amazing sunsets?

To sum up, we always need to look for things and activities that will urge us to survive an unpleasant moment without losing our mind. Our motivation may sound trivial or totally weird to others, but they are not in your mind. They don’t know how hard it is for you not to escape while screaming as in John Carpenter movie.
